Our sweet Harmony was a Tripawd for only 11 days. These are but a few of the images I was able to capture of her. My blog about her life and those she touched have lots of pictures, but they’re of her as a quad-doggie. Although Tripawds’ attention is on the life and times of our 3-legged babies, Harmony’s story is more about the treacherous and devious evil called cancer. But I’ll publish my thoughts on that in a different post.
I wanted to post these pictures to show that beauty is not just skin deep. She was such a regal pup, a great testament to her breed; a lovely soul and wonderful companion.
She went to the Bridge just a few days after these pictures were taken. At first I had mixed emotions about snapping them, again more about that in a different post, but now I’m glad I have them.
Words can’t describe how much we miss her.
She is so precious. Look at her courage!
Totally get it about the mixed emotions at taking photos. I felt the same way when Jerry came home, I just wasn’t sure if remembering him so fresh from surgery was the right thing to do. In my eyes that were so new to the journey, he looked vulnerable. Later I would see that it was me who was the vulnerable one; Jerry was stronger than ever, and ready to show us how to LIVE. I know that Harmony did the same for you.
